====== Analog-to-digital converter for audio signals - ADCaudio01B ====== ADCaudio01B is an innovated version of an older module, with an already integrated crystal oscillator that eliminates the need for a further module that served as an external generator of a sampling clock. It uses ADC WM8786. The main parameters are as follows: * Sampling frequency 8 - 192 kHz * Distortion - 102 dB * I²S interface * 24 bit resolution * SNR 111 dB ===== ADCaudio01A ===== For testing purposes we used module [en:usbi2s|USBI2S01A]] as a host. For CP2114, a configuration 0 works without a further setting up - so in case of CS42L55 * DACSEL0 az DACSEL3 = L For WM8786 a following configuration is functional: * MS0 = L * AUDIOF0 = L * AUDIOF1 = H * OSR0 = 0 * OSR1 = 0 Board as connected as followed: ^ ADCaudio01A ^ direction ^ USBI2S01A ^ | MCLK | <= | MCLK | | BCLK | <= | SCK | | LRCLK |<= | LRCK | | DOUT | => | SDIN | **// There seems to be a crosstalk between L and R channel.//** ===== Alternatives in circuits ===== * cs5364 ===== Related constructions and modules ===== * en:usbi2s * en:audiointerface * en:sdr-widget ===== References ===== * Two-channel Analog-to-Digital converter board with USB interface * CS5364/66/68
