Base for MLAB modules made of duralumin. The edge of the base is wide enough to let the user drill his own holes for a possible attachment to other facilities or devices.

Holes on the edge of the base have a 10 mm metric pitch to increase their compatibility (e.g. with Merkur building set). There are also openings for three threaded M5 rods on the edge of the board, which make it possible to stack the boards on top of each other. These openings can also be used for three adjusting screws, making it possible to level the boards precisely.

• In the future, we plant to modify the edges’ size in such way, that the boards can be easily connected with respect to the holes’ grid.
